Common questions

Do I need an account to play?

No. Local pass-and-play, the AI opponent, the Daily Puzzle, and Puzzle Rush all work without signing in. You only need an account for live multiplayer, friends, messaging, and having your progress saved to an account rather than just your device.

I bought Pro or hint packs — why don't they show up after reinstalling?

This depends on whether you were signed in when you bought them:

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Delete Account. This is immediate and permanent — it removes your profile, friends, messages, and stats. You don't need to contact us first, though you're welcome to if you have questions.

How do I block or report someone?

From a chat conversation, tap the flag icon in the top corner to report the person — this also blocks them automatically. You can also block someone when removing them as a friend, or decline a friend request with the block option. To see or manage everyone you've blocked, go to Friends → Blocked users.

How do I turn off the daily reminder notification?

Go to Settings → Notifications and turn off "Daily reminders." You can also turn off notifications for the app entirely in your device's system Settings.

How do leaderboards work?

You need to be signed in to appear on or view leaderboards. There are separate categories (total wins, wins by time control, Daily Puzzles solved, Puzzle Rush best score) and both a Global and a Friends-only view for each. You only appear on a leaderboard category if you've actually done something in it.

Can I change the board colors, difficulty, or turn on dark mode?

Yes — all of that is in Settings, along with sound, music, haptics, move highlights, and more.

The app is showing an error or crashed — what should I do?

Try closing and reopening the app first. If it keeps happening, email us at the address above with a description of what you were doing right before it happened — that's the most useful thing you can tell us.
